The Bully Black Bull LED Hitch-Mounted Step # BBS-1104L should work well on your 2006 Subaru Baja as long as you have a 1-1/4 inch hitch installed.
For the light to function on the # BBS-1104L you will need to have a functioning 4-way on your vehicle. If you do not have one you would need a Tekonsha # 119179KIT wiring harness. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for you to check out.
