Can Air Conditioner be Installed on ProMaster Van

Question:
Can I install a furrion 15,000 btu air conditioner on the roof of my Promaster Van Dodge 2500? There has never been a roof air conditioner installed before. Thank you in advance for your prompt response.

To install an air conditioner will require you to cut an opening in the roof of about 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide, and if you are willing to do that you can install an air conditioner so long as you have the correct roof thickness, which you'll need to verify with the manufacturer of your van.
- 3-1/2" to 6" thick roof: Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR55PV
- 2-1/2" to 5" thick roof: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135C
To power it you will also need a generator such as the Portable Generator # 289-SUA2000i or # 289-SUA2000i-2.
