Is Platform Bike Rack More Stable than Hanging Bike Rack
Updated 07/10/2020 | Published 07/08/2020 >
Question:
I tow a camper so I can’t mount it to the back hitch but I installed a front mounted hitch and currently use a swagman hanging 4 bike rack but it doesn’t work well with our bikes and they run against each other and that’s why I want to upgrade

Platform bike racks are much more stable than hanging bike racks so for what you are wanting the Yakima HoldUp # Y0243-2 that you referenced would be a really great choice. The bikes will not move at all or touch each other since they are held totally still.
I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
