I guess if your trailer tongue is 4", 4-1/2", or 6" squared then the Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier # MNT77FR could technically fit, but this was designed and tested for being installed on the bumper of an RV. If you were to install this on a trailer tongue then your load would be putting force perpendicular to the brackets as opposed to in line. Since this wasn't tested in this manner I only recommend using this on the bumper of your RV.
The only kind of tray that we carry which was designed specifically for a trailer frame is the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier # CC-255 which fits A-Frame tongues.
From your question I'm guessing that you have a pole tongue on your trailer so if you're wanting to install a tray that would probably be something that needs to be custom fabricated.
