Question:
Hi jacker hitch double pivot purchased in 2007. Need mounting rail kit, what do I need to have for a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup 1/2 ton short bed 6.5’ , it came out of a 2010 Ford F-250 shot bed truck also, purchase hitch only no rails.

So long as your 5th wheel hitch installs on industry-standard above-bed base rails, there is an option for 5th wheel base rails and installation kits that fits your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. What you need is the following
- Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - Dodge Ram # RP30035-023
Additionally, for a 5th wheel wiring harness, so long as your 2004 Ram has the factory 7-way, you'll need the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # HM42137.
