Question:
Hi- For installation of the hitch part 76138 on a 2016 Mazda CX5 it says the exhaust must be temporary lowered. Can you tell me how big a job that is and are special tools required? Or will it explain this in the instructions? thanks much

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76138 is an excellent option 2016 Mazda CX-5. In regards to installation, you will need to lower part of the exhaust but this is required for all trailer hitches for this vehicle. I know this may sound concerning but it's actually super easy and you won't need any special tools.
I recommend spraying down the rubber isolaters which are the rubber oval shaped parts which attach to the metal hangers with some lubricant first. Once done, you can take any sort of metal pipe, pry bar etc. whatever you have and wedge it between the hanger and isolater to pry free. It might be a bit more awkward if you are working on the ground but it's not hard at all.
I have attached a video which shows the process as well.
