Question:
2011 Subaru hitch and Thule bike mount. I am looking to adapt my 2011 Outback to transport bikes. Which hitch and bike mount do I need. I would like to have some kind of Thule swing away style so I can open my back hatch. Thanks! Tim

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75673 which is an excellent bolt-on options that offers easy installation. It has a class III rating and 2" receiver tube opening so it will be perfect for a bike rack.
For a bike rack, the Thule Apex Swing XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9027XT is just what you need as it can hold up to four bikes and it swings out away from the vehicle for hatch access. It is the only swing away bike rack offered by Thule.
