Which Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System for Trailer with Loaded Tongue Weight of 800 lbs

Question:
I had previously emailed and I believe the worker gave me the incorrect hitch and said I should get one larger than I would need. The tongue weight is approx 770-800lbs. The trailer is 6880 empty. Your worker said I needed the 1200/12000 hitch which seems high. I ran some numbers and thought i might need the 1000/10000. I am towing a 34foot trailer with a silverado. Which may be better the e2 trunnion system or the equalizer? I did previously use an e2 4500 for our smaller trailer.

I would agree with you that if your loaded tongue weight is going to be 800 lbs the correct Fastway e2 weight distribution system you'd need is the part # FA90-00-1000 and not the higher rated 1,200 lb tongue weight setup.
