Recommended Cargo Bag for 2019 Nissan Kicks with 25 Inches Between Crossbars

Question:

Hello, I have a 2018 Nissan Kicks. I am trying to find a cargo carrier bag for the roof that is right for it. I have cross bars with about 25 inches of space between them. I have been struggling to find a cargo bag that fits in between here. Do cargo bags need to fit in this space or can it over hang on the bars and not be perfectly flat? Thanks.

You can really use whatever you want here when it comes to roof bags, but there isn't going to be one that fits within the 25" crossbar spread you're mentioning. Outside of a rooftop cargo box, the best solution is likely going to be something like the Rhino-Rack Rooftop Cargo Bag - Waterproof - 7 cu ft - 55" x 19-1/2" x 11-1/2"
# RRLB200 which can be positioned sideways on your 2019 Nissan Kicks and shouldn't overhang the sides. I do recommend that you measure the width of your roof to make sure it's less than 55" though.

In reality cargo bags and roof racks are kind of counter-productive, for lack of better term, so you'd be much better off using an economical cargo box like the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier - 9 cu ft - Black # TRX44FR.
