Can it be wired to work off of AC power? In other words can it be wired to be plugged in?

I have a solution for you, but the Electric Winch # 2953AT is designed to work off of DC power, so it's not something you could plug into a wall outlet to work and it would require a 12v DC power source. Instead, you can use the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch, AC Powered - 2,700 lbs # DL24872 which comes equipped with a plug that will allow you to plug it into an AC power source.
