Expert Reply:
Yes. The Trailer Connector Adapter for Land Rover - 7-Way, Round Pin, European Style to 4-Way Flat # 118710 is considered a 12N connector in Europe and the UK. This particular connector is designed for European style camper plugs which has individual wires for each side of the vehicle's turn signals and running lights. The purpose of this adapter is to split out the functions of these lights from a vehicle with a North American style 4 way to use with a trailer with a European style connector.
