Master Lock Street Cuff Bike Security Lock is Sticking and Will Not Open

Question:
I bought an 8200 DPRO years ago. What a great lock! Recently one of the cuffs has really been sticking to the point that I am afraid to use it any longer for fear that I wont be able to get it off. After working with it for awhile, the key on that side turns, but something on the inside appears to not be turning. Weird! Any suggestions? Should I lubricate it? Should it be replaced?

There could be some dirt or gunk inside that is jamming something and using some spray lubricant might clean it out. If you try that and it does not work, most likely it is a part of the inner mechanism that is broken, worn, or misaligned. In that case you would need to replace it with a new Street Cuff, # 8200D. Replacement keys are not available.
