Question:

looking for a front hitch for my 2002 dodge ram 1500 crew cab. 4x4. It does have a lift. I am mounting a winch on it. What options do you have for the front mount hitches?

We have 2 front mount trailer hitches for your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, the Curt Front Hitch, # 31320, and the Draw-Tite Front Hitch, # 65033. Aesthetically, these hitches are pretty much equals. They will mount in the same location and sit is basically the same position on your truck. These hitches also have the same exact weight capacity and strength ratings. I'm not aware of any other front mount hitches for your truck, so I'll get a little deeper to make a recommendation for you.

I'm normally a fan of Curt hitches because they are Made in the USA (Draw-Tite is made right across the border in Mexico and I don't really consider them to be inferior in quality necessarily) and Curt is known to be a little more liberal with their powder coat application than Draw-Tite, but if I were choosing between these two hitches for my truck, I'd have to go with the Draw-Tite hitch because in a front hitch application, the tow loops on either side of the crosstube create a much more practical design than the Curt option.

Also, if you don't already have a winch mounting plate, I recommend picking up theBulldog Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate with Handles - 2" x 2" Hitch # BDW20011.
