Question:
Is there an approach to drilling the bottom holes on the trailer side of the folding coupler. It seems to me one would be drilling pretty much blindly from the bottom? I was not intending on removing the boat for this installation.

Once you have the trailer tongue cut and you place on the hinge, # FHDPB330301, put the other end of the tongue in place on the open end. Once everything is in position you can mark the holes or use the hinge as a template and drill the holes. Using the hinge as a template would take the guess work out.
