Question:
Can this be installed with a 20” toolbox mounted at the front of the bed at the cab? Will it retract and extend leaving 20” in the canister when extended and fully retract to the canister at the toolbox? Or do you sell a shorter version? Truck is a 2016 ram 1500 crew cab.

For your 2016 Ram 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed we have the Access Toolbox Tonneau cover part # A64169 which is designed to allow a 20 inch wide tool box to fit in front of it.
There isn't a way to install a retracting style of cover with a box though.
