Can the Inno Square Bars be Cut Down for 2014 my Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It looks like these mounts will work. My question is: The description says they are made of plastic, but pictures look like metal, with a plastic cover, and plastic knob. is this correct? all plastic doesnt seem very strong. Also, the kitinch price is $266.76 with the INB165inch bars, but I would rather get the 71inch bars IN434A?, which are cheaper, and I can just cut them to whatever length I need. Does this seem like it would work?

Yes it will work! You are correct that the Inno Feet for Square Crossbars part # INLD are in fact steel with the face being plastic more a nicer appearance.

You are also correct that the 71" Inno Square Crossbars part # IN434A can be cut down to whatever length you want. I really like longer bars. They help to get all of the items you might want loaded up. As a good guide I like to have my bars about the same width as my mirrors to give you an idea of how wide it is on your roof for maneuvering. While you don't have to follow this rule it is a good guide.
