Question:
I have a 2003 Nissan xterra with out the trailer package. I have my brake and running lights In one circuit with three wires black, green, and yellow green I need help to determine what wire is the brake and running lights.

In order to determine which taillight wires carry the correct functions on your 2003 Nissan Xterra, you will need to use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 or the one that came with it to test the vehicle wiring. Once you have determined the functions of the taillight wires making the attachments to the wiring harness will be easy.
