Troubleshooting Wesbar Trailer Lights Not Working

Question:
I bought the Wesbar trailer light kit a couple days ago to replace on my boat trailer, as the current lights were not lighting up. I wired the new lights and harness exactly as the old one was on the trailer and it does not light up either. I know it isnt the vehicle, as I used temporary lights with it not too long ago. I dont know what the issue could be. The white ground wire is not connected to anything, but I did test it with no luck either. The product manufacturer #2527511 and the model #19411941.

If your Wesbar lights, like parts # 271595 and # 271594, aren't lighting up and you don't have the ground wire connected then that is actually the problem. For a circuit to be complete there needs to be a ground so without that connected the circuit isn't completed and your lights aren't working.
When you connect the grounds make sure they are to a clean, bare-metal surface as even some rust or paint can cause the circuit to not be completed.
