Possible Fifth Wheel Hitch Solution for Fire Truck

Question:
I have an old fire truck that I’m putting a fifth wheel hitch on, the frame measures 34 1/2” outside to outside, which do you recommend?

Putting a fifth wheel hitch in a truck like yours gets pretty difficult since the distance from the rear axle to the rear of the truck is often times longer than what a fifth wheel overhang will allow plus the the height typically doesn't match well either. That said if all of the checked out the Reese Low Profile Hitch part # RP30054 would be a great option.
This install if this normally requires a bit of fabrication which is covered in the attached install instructions.
