how can i use thule classic bars with the 460r towers? Classic bars without slots on the bottom. Is there an adapter?

Unfortunately, the new # TH460R Podium Roof Rack Towers aren't compatible with the older Thule square load bars with the slot on the underside and I'm sorry to say there isn't an adapter available.
The good news is that there is a less-expensive option than going with a Thule Rack. Inno offers an economical square bar roof rack that would utilize the fixed attachment points on the roof of your CR-V. You could assemble a rack using the following parts:
