Are Longer Shackle Straps Needed with Lippert Road Armor Equalizer

Question:

My current equalizer is 6inch across by 3 3/4 tall all dimensions bolt hole center to center. Shackles are 2 1/4. The road armor is very close in dimensions but would i need to change shackle length or 2 1/4 would be ok?

You'll be fine with the same shackle length you're currently using, as the height difference is only a 1/4 inch. At the time you replace the equalizer, I'd also recommend replacing the shackle links, as they can see a lot of wear. The # TRSL225 2-1/4 inch shackle links would work great for you.
