Question:
I need a large capacity roof bag for my car, which has no rack. I dont think that I can use hooks because I dont see that i can attach after removing door weather seals. I have a very long 4-day drive.

I'll start this off by saying that because you don't have a roof rack and cargo basket on your VW GTI, the most common way to attach these roof bags is going to be via hooks inside the door jams. You won't need to remove the weather seals from your vehicle to attach a roof bag and the door being close will help secure those hooks into place. With that being said, we have some solutions that you will be able to use.
Because of the relatively small size of your vehicle, you're likely going to be limited to a smaller bag. I recommend using the Rightline # RL100R50 which is a 10 cu/ft storage bag that is weatherproof and will hold up to the rigors of your long road trip. This bag is 36" long, but the straps are roughly 22" apart, so you should be able to get both of them inside the single door on your VW GTI.
Because of the small size of your vehicle, your options are not the best, but if you can let me know what year your VW GTI is I can look to see if we can come up with a better way for you to carry your cargo on your road trip. I've linked to a video review of the Rightline for you to look at.
