In order to find the correct Solid-Tow Adjustable 2-Ball Mount you will need to measure from the ground to the top inside edge of the trailer hitch and then subtract the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler while level. The difference between the two measurements will then let you know how much drop you need to look for in a ball mount. If you don't have a trailer yet and just want to be prepared, you can use 16" as that is a pretty average trailer coupler height.
If you don't have access to the truck or trailer, the Solid-Tow Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Chrome Balls - 2" Hitch - 8" Drop, 9" Rise # DTSTBM6800 which offers up to an 8" drop would likely have you covered for most trailers.
