Will part #SR1002 fit my 2005 Honda Civic 2 door, or will I need an adapter?

There are roof racks available for your 2005 Honda Civic 2-door, but the SportRack Frontier Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 that you referenced is not a confirmed fit so I do not recommend it for you.
Check out the link I provided that has all of the different roof racks that are confirmed to work on your vehicle.
Check out the Thule Aeroblade Traverse rack part # THARB47, # TH480R, # THKIT1516, # TH487. The aerodynamic design of this rack will be much quieter than the other racks and will reduce the amount of gas mileage that you would lose also.
