Question:
2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 with commercial bed cap, looking for a full time rear view camera that I can use while driving, can this mirror mount type camera be used in that way

Yes, you could wire the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System # RVS-091407 that you referenced in such a way that it would display the cameras feed at all times.
