I have a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali and I’m looking to install a cargo box. I currently don’t have any cross bars installed. I was looking at the Thule line of boxes, specifically the Motion XT XXL. I’d like the largest box possible so I can cross it over to other vehicles in the future. Will this box work on my car and what cross bars should I be looking at to go with it? Thanks in advance!

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629906 (Black) or # TH629907 (Silver) is a fantastic choice, you really know your cargo boxes! It not only has a very large 22 cubic feet of cargo space but is also easy to use, secure and aerodynamic for a quiet ride. In a similar vein, you are also going to want a roof rack on your 2015 GMC Acadia with aerodynamic bars to ensure a quiet ride, and like the cargo box, the best is from Thule. Your Acadia will have raised rails, so the roof rack you need consists of just a couple parts:
- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220 (Black) or # TH711200 (Silver)
- Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401
- Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400 (Optional)
This rack system is the quietest available because it has crossbars with a tapered shape and integrated WindDiffusers, which are the specially designed rubber strips atop the bars that ensure wind passes quietly through their V-shaped ridges. I do recommend adding the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400 so you can lock the roof rack to your GMC Acadia and secure your investment.
