No, the Curt hitch part # C11529 you referenced will not fit on the electric models of the Kona and we don't have a hitch that will. To help haul your gear I do have another option available for you and that would be a roof rack system. This will allow you to add roof mounted bike racks and cargo carriers to the roof of your Kona and give you the storage you are lo0king for.

If you have flush mounted rails that run front and back on your roof you would use part # TH712300, # TH710601, and # TH67JV.

For a bare roof you would use part # Y00425 , # Y28TR, # Y06175 and # Y06131 . These are both confirmed fits for your Kona and will get the job done for you. As for the bike and roof rack I can give you a couple of my favorites below.

For an open carrier I like

For an enclosed one I like
