Will a 47inch long kayak paddle fit inside this carrier box?

The Thule Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Carrier Box part # TH78GC has inside dimensions of 50" long x 23" wide. Therefore, if the object in question did not exceed this it would fit just fine inside. If you wanted to free space up inside the box you could also use the Malone Paddle Carrier part # MPG121 which is designed specially for paddles and other longer objects.
