Replacement for Connexx AVS400BT Stereo On Motorhome Exterior

Question:

I have Jayco class A with outside entertainment. It came with a Connexx AVS 400 BT that no longer works. Can you suggest a replacement unit to mount in existing place outside and will play DVD s.

The Jensen Mechless Marine Stereo part # MS2ARTL is an excellent option to replace the Connexx AVS400BT as they both have the single din mounting profile. Therefore, you should not have to modify the cutout in order to install the new unit or at least not very much if needed.

Please note, if the unit will be installed outside potentially exposed to the elements then it will need to be marine rated which both the Connexx AVS400BT you have now and the Jensen Mechless Marine Stereo are. However, marine stereos typically don't have CD players because of the opening for the CD which would not pass marine rating specification. The Jensen Mechless Marine Stereo does however have Bluetooth and USB/aux connections so you should still be able to play your music with one of these inputs.

@KenP From my experience all of the different stereo brands use different connectors. If you go to the product page for the Jensen # JHD1130WP radio you can see what style connections are used and compare them to what you have.
