The install process of the Prodigy P3 # 90195 with the # 3016 in your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 is just like the install video I attached which happens to be the same as the on you referenced. You do not have to run any wires to the rear of the truck as they are already ran from the factory!
The # 3016 plugs into the 4-pin connector in your Chevrolet Silverado 1500's junction box. The box is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, just above the carpeting.
