Yes, you can splice the Rear View Safety Cigarette Lighter Adapter # RVS-505 into the power and ground wires of the Rear View Safety SimpleSight Wireless Backup Camera System # RVS-355W to basically create a plug and play connector, instead of splicing directly into your vehicle's wires, which is more permanent.
To join the wires, I recommend using heat shrink connectors, like # DW05745-5 because they create the most secure and durable connections.
