Im not sure I understand which roof mounted cargo boxes will bolt onto the factory roof rack of our 2011 Subaru Outback. The cross bars are 30 on center, slightly arched. The cross bars are 2 1/4 wide and thinner in the vertical dimension.

The SportRack Vista XL cargo box you mentioned, part # SR7018 is one of the many cargo boxes we offer that is compatible with the OEM roof rack of your 2011 Outback Wagon. The Vista XL can adjust to fit crossbar spreads of 25-7/8 inches, 27-7/8 inches and 29-7/8 inches and will fit crossbars up to 4 inches in diameter. The box opens from the rear, providing access to your cargo from either the driver or passenger side.
