I see three different company base plates RM524457-5, BX2678 and DM9519318 and I am not sure the advantages of one over the other

The best base plate kit for a 2019 Ford Expedition is the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit part # DM9519318 because it does not have any sort of cross tube that attaches the two side together unlike the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-524457-5 or Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX2678. The lack of a cross tube is going to limit the amount of modifications that are needed which then reduces install time as well so this is really the best route to take. Furthermore, the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit gives you a much greater variety of tow bars to use. I recommend the Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar part # DM9511008.
