What effect do these mounts have on ground clearance/approach angle when installed on a stock jeep YJ? Thanks!

I contacted the manufacturer on your behalf for additional detail. The Custom Mounting Brackets for Detail K2 Snowplows # K284115 help provide good ground clearance to avoid curbs via the 2-point brackets designed to fit close to your vehicle without protruding beyond bumper The ideal distance from the ground to mount is in the neighborhood of 9-18" and these brackets help to prevent the plow back end from sitting too high by a few inches more to provide more clearance.
