Can SuperChips for 2005 Chevy Silverado with 4.3 liter Remove Speed Limit and Change Tire Size

Question:

Can it adjust tire size and speed limiter? Can it adjust idle RPM? If used for economy, what kind of fuel mileage increase could be expected?

Expert Reply:

The SuperChips programmer part # SU5845 can adjust for tire size changes to correct the speedometer and can adjust the speed limiter as well but it does not allow for idle RPM changes. In general it's best to leave that stock. If you are having idle problems you might have other issues at play.

Fuel mileage gain would be about 1-2 miles per gallon.
