Question:

I have a 2010 Honda Pilot with tow package. I need wiring harness and want to know which one I should order. I see the these two harnesses that are available. Which one should I get? What are the differences between both of them?

Since you have a tow package on your 2010 Honda Pilot, that means it is wired from the factory to accept a 7-Way trailer connector. The correct harness then would be # 118253. It comes with the necessary fuses, relays, and converter box to add the 7-Way, which is also included. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

If the vehicle did not come with a factory tow package that means that it is not wired from the factory for a 7-Way, but you can add a 4-Way using # 118491.
