Yes, the Rear View Safety G-Series Backup Camera System # RVS-776718-CT will absolutely fit and work with your 2016 Nissan Frontier Extra Cab truck. This camera system is a universal fit and only requires you connect the red 12 power wire to an ignition power source on your Frontier, and wire the green trigger wire to a back up light circuit on your truck.

The system does come with a camera already so you do not need to purchase an additional one, and the camera cable is 33 feet, which is more than long enough to work with your Frontier Extra Cab. However, if you would like to use another camera, the system does allow for the use of two, so you can add another one with the Rear View Safety Backup Camera - Surface Mount - 5 Pin Connectors # RVS-776.
