Question:
Hi, I am wondering if I can use this bike rack on my 2015 Nissan Altima with the hitch that’s recommended on this site? Is this too heavy for my car?

I do have a solution for you but it's important to note the # TH9044-TH9046 rack is for use with a 2" only receiver and the only hitches confirmed to fit your 2015 Altima are 1-1/4". Another option is the Thule T2 Classic 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" Hitches # TH9045 that would fit a 1-1/4" receiver and weighs 50lbs. Adding that weight to your bikes you can determine your total weight to see if it exceeds the vehicle maximum for the Altima.
You always need to consult your owners manual for maximum tongue weight allowed for a hitch. One source consulted online gave the 2015 Nissan Altima's a maximum tongue weight at 200lbs but I did not see this provided in the owners manual so I would consult a Nissan dealer or the manufacturer directly to confirm before purchase.
Regarding a hitch for this Altima, the Curt # C11352 is my recommendation as an easier to install hitch with no drilling required, includes a decorative collar, but it is recommended to be used with a stabilization strap # 18050 so that is the only real drawback versus the Draw-Tite # 24796. Note that while these are approved for 200lbs of tongue weight, that is always limited by the vehicle weight limits mentioned earlier.
