Hello, do you know if 8/2 wire from my electrical panel instead of 10/2 wire not from the twist lock side male end can be connected to the unit

Normally 10 gauge wire is used when wiring a 30 amp socket like the Epicord 30 Amp Twist Lock Power Inlet # 277-000137 but if you went with heavier 8 gauge wire it would work fine. Going thinner would be an issue though since it wouldn't be able to carry all of the amperage.
