Do Clips on Rightline Gear Car Top Duffel Bag Need to Sit Flush with Door Frame

Question:

Hi experts, I looked at the pictures and videos. Im still not sure about the assembly though. Did I mount the clips correctly? Vehicle: X3 G01 2019 You may know if the roof bags are allowed in Europe Germany and Italy. Thank you so much!

From the pictures you sent in it looks like you have the clip in the correct location but I'm not sure if you have it oriented properly. You need to try to position the clip so that it matches the contour of your door frame so you can shut your door. There are a few pictures on the product page for the Rightline Gear Duffel Bag # RL100J87-B that you can reference as well as the attached review video to get a good idea of what this should look like.

I'm not sure if roof bags are allowed in Europe so if you plan on making a trip that way in the near future you'll need to research the local traffic laws where you'll be traveling to ensure that your within the limits of the law.
