You do not need a CDL to buy a gooseneck hitch for your 2013 Ford F-150 like the B and W Companion hitch part # BWGNRK1104 which is a fit and a really great option. From my understanding you don't need a CDL to do LTL freight either, but I would recommend you check your local DOT on the rules of that to be sure.
