Is there any type of trailer hitch for a 2020 Chevy Equinox that fits in the same spot as the factory hitch, which is to say, high up on the vehicle?

That's a good question, and the answer is that aftermarket hitches for a 2020 Chevy Equinox do sit a little lower than the factory trailer hitches, but not by a whole lot. The aftermarket hitches sit just under the bumper while the OEM hitch is up a little higher.
