Adding A 12V Outlet For A Rockwood A-Frame Trailer Charging A Suaoki Portable Solar Generator
Updated 10/17/2019 | Published 10/16/2019 >
Question:
I want install a 12 volt outlet in my Rockwood a-frame trailer. I will have to run the wire to the battery since there isn’t an extra connection in the fuse box. I want to be able to charge a Suaoki lithium battery during the day when my solar panels are putting out energy. On the suaoki battery case for input: DC 15V/2A this must be what it needs to charge. It’s not connected directly to the solar panels. What parts do I need? Thanks

I think the best solution for you is the Hopkins 12-Volt Power Socket with Power Wire and Fuse Assembly, # HM55115. It comes with an extra 17 feet of wire to connect to a battery and includes an in line fuse. Included are helpful review and installation video resources for it.
