Troubleshooting Hitch Install on 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Where Hitch Seems Unlevel
Published 10/15/2019 >
Question:
After installing my hitch I noticed the receiver was crooked. I measured the inside of the receiver on both the left and right side and it is off 3/16 of an inch. It is noticeable as my neighbor saw it too. The trailer seems to still fits ok and I am hoping it isn’t a safety issue as I’m only using it to haul 1500lbs or less. The hitch is level but the receiver weld is off.

It looks like you might have left off the washers that need to be installed between the hitch and the bottom of the vehicle frame when you installed the Draw Tite hitch part # 75908 on your 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Could I get you to check to see if the washers are present? I attached a picture that shows them pointed out.
