Question:

What is the diameter of the strap drum? I know it is designed to accept 20 foot of 2 inch strap. I am attempting to compare this trailer winch to my existing old winch. I believe I will be purchasing a new unit from you as my new 2x20 foot strap is too long for my existing winch. The drum on my existing winch is 4 1/2 inch in diameter. Your product descriptions are well done. That is why we purchase from you. Thank you.

I took a trip out to the warehouse and found that the drum of the Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch # F142201 measures about 5-3/4" so it is definitely larger than your current winch. Hopefully this gives you some reassurance that this is compatible with your 20' x 2" Strap like part # DL24260.
