How to Connect Goal Zero Yeti to Expansion Tank

Question:

Trying to find out which cable is needed to connect gz 1250 to gz expansion tank. Its looks like expansion tank has a EC8 connection. Therfore I think I need to install a male EC8 to ring terminal. But that is not what info says I need to do. Can you help me figure out what I actually need.

In order to connect the Goal Zero Yeti Expansion Tank # 287-23100 to your Yeti 1250, you will need to add the Link Module # 287-98200. The female EC8 plug on the Expansion Tank will be connected to the external battery connector on the Link Module.

To be clear, the link module is not needed to connect the expansion battery to the Goal Zero 1400, only to the 1250. Is that correct?

The Goal Zero Yeti Lithium Link Module for Yeti Lithium Solar Generator # 287-98200 is needed to connect an expansion battery to the Goal Zero Yeti 1400. It can also be used to recharge the power station from your vehicle.
