Originally bought FullTilt soft tonneau cover 8670 in 2005. 2002 Dodge Dakota crew 5'3" inch bed Also am looking for a brake controller for 2008 Aspen that will fit in 2-3/8 inch W by 2-1/8 inch H x 3 inch D dash cubby. If not i might fashion a cover for dash cubby and use a Redarc or Curt with remote dials. I would rather have an integrated controller from mopar, but..., i don't think they make one for it. 2008 Aspen with sales code AHC tow group. I appreciate your time.

To answer your first question, you are correct that the Replacement Tarp for Extang FullTilt Soft Tonneau Cover # EX5670 is the right replacement tarp for the Extang FullTilt SL Soft Tonneau Cover # EX38670 that fits your 2002 Dodge Dakota with a 5'3" bed.
In regards to the brake controller for your 2008 Chrysler Aspen fitting into the cubby (thanks for the photo, it was helpful), because most brake controllers need to be wired to a harness, there isn't going to be one that fits in the cubby with ease, so I highly recommend the option you mentioned, which is a controller with a dial.
