Solution for Needing Replacement Converter Box for Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Kit 118547

Question:
I have been trying to source the older style as pictured modulator box. It appears that the manufacturer has upgraded the box to a new sealed type no plug. Does your item come with the older style, grey plug box that can be disconnected from the wiring? There is a circuit board inside that got flooded in my car and I am just looking to replace this circuit board. If I can find an older style black box I would just use it to swap the board. Unfortunately I have already ordered and returned two sets from various sellers because they send me the newer sealed style even though the picture on the website was of the older detachable style box. Could you verify this for me and lt me know if your item is exactly as pictured? thanks

Tekonsha does not offer replacement circuit boards or converter boxes for their kits like the # 118547 so your best option is to go with an all new kit as it's only way to order the box.
