Replacement Fridge for a Fleetwood Westwind Storm

Question:

The fridge in the 1999 Fleetwood Westwind Storm 30H I am looking at is Toast. Is there a guide to find the replacement options that will fit and work with it? Seems like three way might be the way to go, but this 12v should work as long as the house batteries can stay up with it.

The Everchill Refrigerator for RVs part # 324-000119 would be a great option for your Fleetwood Westwind Storm. The only thing you really need to check before hand is the overall dimensions which are 23-1/2" wide x 24-3/4" deep x 59-5/8" tall and make sure you have or can make sufficient room.

In regards to power consumption, the load required will decrease significantly compared to the model you have now most likely due to the innovation of technology. That said, if you are a numbers person then you will need to allot for 8-11 amps on startup and around 3 amps continuous draw as that is what the above refrigerator will pull. These rating should be more than manageable for your trailer's battery bank.
