Question:
Can you please tell me what is the weight of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Class III receiver hitch, part # 75679 weighs about 36 lbs, or 40 lbs as shipped. The hitch has a 4000 lb towing capcity and a 400 lb tongue weight capacity. If the towing capacity of the vehicle is less than that, you'll want to abide by the lowest rated component.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system.
Trailer wiring harness, part # C56343 or # HM40975 if the vehicle is equipped with the factory tow package.
Ballmount kit with trailer balls and retaining pins/clips # 989900
I've linked you to some install videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness.
